Biography

Retired Middle School Principal. Life long percussionist with experience in symphony orchestra, concert band, R&R, drum and bugle corps, and hand drumming.
Several training sessions w/ Jim Donovan.

Mission Statement

The phrase, I have no rhythm, is w/o foundation and categorically false. We all have rhythm, albeit some with less experience in surfacing our rhythm. My mission is to free that rhythm within through joyful, collaborative participation in drum circles.

Target Populations

From pre-school-seniors. Also those in need of drumming for wellness/healing (see below). Community organizations (Svc clubs, Cub Scouts, schools,...)

Regular Drum Circles

Alzheimer's Assoc of WNY, Parkinson's Foundation, numerous asst'd living facilities. Long-time circle w Hospice Life Transitions until facility was shuttered. Occasional circles at a medium security state prison.
Numerous general gatherings including originator of Rhythms at Hamburg Beach on the shores of Lake Erie.
Music in the Woods series at Artpark, Lewiston, NY
