    HealthRHYTHMS Group Empowerment Drumming Facilitation Training
    (Adolescent Protocol Facilitation Training)*

    HealthRHYTHMS is a fun, evidence-based protocol that uses the drum as a tool for communication and personal expression. Research shows it can: strengthen the immune system, reduce stress and burnout, improve mood states and improve creativity and bonding and more. The HealthRHYTHMS Adolescent Protocol is the foundation of our HealthRHYTHMS Adolescent Drumming Program for at-risk youth, and consists of a progression of 6 or 12 one hour weekly sessions participants are guided through to facilitate communication and personal expression.

    Music for People Satellite Workshop
    Treat yourself to a day of creative music-making at this Music for People satellite workshop.  Join us for playful and inspiring workshops with an approach to improvisation that is inviting and artistically rich for musicians from diverse backgrounds.  Whether you are a professional musician, teacher, student, or amateur, you will have a chance to recharge and refresh your own musical spirit while stepping into a community that honors deep listening and connection.  Elective topics will include movement, drumming, voice, facilitation, and chamber music.

    ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

    The Drum Circle Facilitator’s Guild (DCFG) Conference will feature a variety of workshops and presentations on a wide range of DCF topics.  There will be an array of activities ranging from formal presentations, open sharing, jump time for facilitation practice, and of course plenty of time to simply drum together.  Conference sessions are designed for participants who have a working knowledge and experience with basic DCF principles and techniques.  Beginning DCFs are of course welcome, however introductory instruction will not be offered.  

    The DCFG Conference is organized by volunteer members of the DCF community and is sponsored by the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild (DCFG).
